October Games
So we begin out new schedule this month.
We'll be playing on the 13th and the 27th.
I know the 13th will be a light game due to Weddings and people traveling.
We want to have a real moot game again on the 27th.
Dan has said that we could use his parent's place again.
Food, Drink, Fire, and merriment will be had.
Any questions please throw them up here. Dan, if you could throw the address up here again that would be great.
Coordination of foods that people want to bring might be a good idea too.

Re: October Games
Sup all, a few rules for this gathering to remind everyone of.
-Those under 21 should not be drinking alcohol as per request of the site owner.
-I have been given permission to bodily remove from the property anyone who can't handle their booze. *cracks knuckles and glares at the booze gremlins*
-Please be respectful, we are getting the site for free and free run of the kitchen and about an acre of property. Disrespect will be dealt with with extreme prejudice.
-There is limited crash space, we won't have the entire downstairs this time. So plan accordingly.
Address for the place is:
125 Dolphin Drive
Butler PA 16002.
Parking is a little limited so please carpool if possible. We will likely be outside for most of the game unless the weather is ugly, so please bring camp chairs, folding chairs etc or be prepared to stand round the bonfire. It's likely going to be getting chilly so dress warmly.

Re: October Games
This Saturday and normal games will be 6pm.
The cookout will likely be earlier, I need an idea from Dan what time it's ok for us to be there.
Usually we start those around 4pm.

Re: October Games
New kids on the block here...
I'm AJ, and I haven't played in OWbN in quite a while, but me and my housefull of 5 gamer-peep were wantin' to hop back in. We just moved from Florida (orlando) to New Kensington, and were hoping to come to the next game. Saw that it was going to be at someone's parents' house and wanted to make sure you were cool with five peep you don't know showing up, before we just do so...
Also, is there someone we can talk over IM or email with? I know one of my roommates, Andrew, was in touch with someone for a bit, but I don't know who, and much though I adore him, he's bad at sharing info.
SO.... someone help a gal out?
AJ,
Soon to be TPO

Re: October Games
Also, House Lost and Found (my peep) is planning to bring noms of great deliciousness.
Will there be a grill? If so, gas or charcoal, if charcoal, do we need to bring our own?
Are there any allergies we need to be aware of? Intense food hatreds?
We're likely to bring meat or a meat-dense dish. Are there vegetarians/vegans out there that we should bring an alternative for?
How many-ish should we plan to be sharing our bounty with?
Um... yeah... cooking is what we do.

There is a grill, its charcoal but we can provide it.
Moots usually bring 25-30 people.

Re: October Games
Sweet.
We're thinking tamales. Or maybe chili... or perhaps grilled bacon-wrapped sausage-filled dates. Or maybe chicken-spinach-pumpkin-cashew curry.
We'll check prices. Things will be delicious, in any case.

Re: October Games
We've got a large group, with upwards of thirty players showing up to most games. I'm sure whatever you bring will be fine, though. Everyone tends to pitch in with a little something. Thanks for your consideration!

Re: October Games
Of course!
I'm mostly just super excited. I've really missed being part of a game where I have zero staffing responsibilities. I've been ST-ing for the last seven years, so this is a much MUCH sought after reprieve. Plus, I'm really growing to love this state and this specific area... so meeting people here is fun too.
And, well, an excuse to cook for 20+ is always awesome.
