Charity Retests
So our game (along with the Sabbat game that I run) is joining into a charity drive to help a member of OWBN.
Ryan Gay's son, Hudson was born with a heart condition that has required him to be hospitalized since birth. He has required heart surgery and will likely require a heart transplant (all within the first few months of life), it's a desperate situation to say the least.
The family has to live in the family housing at the hospital to stay close to their son, and they are struggling to pay the medical bills and bills to stay there.
Members of OWBN are putting on a drive to raise money for Hudson and the family.
They are called "Batman Retests". You may buy a retest that can be used in any challenge against the ST staff. This retest also travels with you to other games that are participating (which are alot). It's a one time use retest (though you can buy more) and all the money goes to charity for Hudson and his family.
There is a printed out card template that you will receive when you buy a "Batman Retest" that will need to be signed and stamped by me.
You can then take it to other games that are participating (pretty sure both of the other Cleveland Games are) and use it there or here in your home game.
These retests only work against STs, NPCs and plot related things. They do not work for PVP at all (so you can't spend a bunch of money and roll people).
Though in truth, the point isn't to get awesome stuff for your characters, but it's more just an avenue to give to charity.
These will be available starting next game for $5 dollars a piece.

This is a great cause! If I have money at the next event, I'll donate.

What a neat idea!
How much are they? How many can we get? Can we buy them as gifts for other players?

Re: Charity Retests
As the original post said, they are $5 a piece.
When each card with the retest on them is made, a player's name is written on it along with me signing, dating, and stamping it just like an item card.
So once a card is made for someone it only works for them, but when you buy it, if you want to put someone else's name on it then I don't really care.
