Buying Merits

Heya STs!

So I believe I already know the answer but I figured I'd ask anyway. Can we buy merits after character creation?

If so are there limits on which ones we can buy and is it 2x the Merit cost (that's what I've most commonly heard).

You can buy merits after character creation, but there has to be a good reason for them.
You can't just shop around.
Though some merits represent things you could train yourself to do, those would just require the RP of training and then you could buy them (like ambidexterous or Code of Honor)
Some merits would require supernatural intervention, which usually doesn't happen very often. Though through the proper spirit deals you could make create some supernatural intervention.

Yes any merit purchased after character creation costs 2x the merit's normal cost.
